SGO Diversity & Inclusion Webinar: Microaggressions 101
August 7 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmFree
Do you know what a microaggression is, and how it might show up in a workplace context? Microaggressions are everyday verbal and nonverbal slights, snubs, or insults. These actions communicate negative or hostile messages that are based solely on the recipient’s perceived marginalized group membership. In this webinar, we’ll walk you through what they look like, how to recognize them in action, and discuss some specific examples.
Please note that this topic is one portion of our longer workshops that cover many aspects to creating an inclusive culture.
